Real or not real, that is the question!

So what do you think, is this wonderful baby real or not?
Well, let me tell you, this beautiful little thing is a porcellain doll.
At my local fabric store, they have a huge display case and apparently for the last few months, they have dolls displayed, what I have been told, from a private collection but done by different artists for the Ashton Drake Company.
I am so in love with this little baby, she looks like she is ready to talk to you any minute.I have to find out who that designer is.

Huge Garage Sale!!!!!

I would like to announce a huge garage sale, which I am holding this Thursday,23 June until Saturday, 25 June from 8 until 3 pm all 3 days.
Rain or shine! So for all the Oregonians living in Happy Valley or around Portland, maybe this is for you. Wonderful items for sale, including everything for doll making, fabric, laces, trims, ribbon and so much more, also rubber stamping supplies and general craft supplies. Furniture, TV, too much to list. You will be not disappointed, your trip will not be waisted.

Just look at these wonderful creations, Trolls, Trolls and more Trolls!

Aren't these little guys wonderful? These were all made by my doll club ladies, each one is so unique. Ute Vasina came to the Fabric Depot here in Portland, Oregon just recently and held a wonderful class, which I could not attend. I am still sad about it, but there will be a next time, I hope. I bought the pattern, Peter the Pack Rat Troll, so hopefully I will have the chance to make him soon.

Dollies!

Here are a few pictures of some wonderful creations from one of my doll club members, she is such a wonderful artist. She made both pieces from the Frowning Francis patterns. Aren't they great?

What I have been doing.............

I have been trying out my new Cupcake Wrappers cartridge for my Cricuit Expression. These are really fun to make. I just did a few samples. I also worked on my embellished gift tags. I used regular card stock and also shipping tags. I buy mine at the Office Depot, they come in a 500 piece box. I colored them with Tim Holtz's distressed inks and my favorite are chalks, I also used my Cuttlebug. These tags are not finished yet, I still have to give them more embellishments.
